Small businesses are vital to the world's economy. Unfortunately, however, nearly half of small businesses fail within four years because they lack business management knowledge and resources. This statistic is mirrored all over the world, where small and medium enterprises (SME) find that access to best practice and business management tools is a significant barrier to their growth and sustainability.
Bradek Corporation have join the efforts of SME Institute (Instituto PYME) and IFC (Private Sector arm of the World Bank) to change this statistic with the creation SME Toolkit Mexico (or Herramientas PYME) a website that offers highly developed business information, tools, and training services usually reserved for big companies.
SME toolkit Mexico is organized by eight major subject areas: accounting and finance, business planning, human resources, international business, legal and insurance, marketing and sales, operations, and technology.
The toolkit also include public information produced by local partners like PROMEXICO to helps businesses connect to the global economy for sales opportunities by providing data on a country's economic performance, import/export regulations, transportation rules and patent laws.
Bradek is helping Instituto PYME and IFC to implement the new SME Toolkit Mexico using top Bradek technical talent.
In the future the SME Toolkit Mexico will add new partners, content and will be accessible through more than 10,000 digital community centers across the country.
